God Bless, during this Holiday Season

Happy Birthday Jesus!!! as Jesus is the reason for the Season!!! it is just three days from Christmas and my 8 year old is almost about to lose it.  He asked for something big this year and oh my he cannot wait.

My health is progressing slowly I must say, the family has become quite concerned for reasons I could not understand....after bugging everyone in the family - it was because I was losing weight, and my color was terrible, I was tired all the time, and still am but picked up a few pounds which I did not need lol. Joined the Y - doing water aquatics. You know how your family is they worry - I am the worrier when anyone else in the family has a issue. With myself, after so many spinal surgeries[13], I guess a word would be I have become harden.  So I asked my sister who goes to every appointment with me..and se said - you are sick girl, with silent killers - there will be no warning - you must take care of yourself!!!  my response was OH.

I finally got my MOJO back for the scrap room, created over 200 Christmas Cards for the missionaries who visit the nursing facilities. Created a few mini albums that are going to be Gifts, as well as some journals. I have the pictures on the camera just haven't  uploaded them yet.

To all my scrapbooking and Card making friends and Blog Friends:

may you be BLESSED with Joy Peace and Love during this great Holiday - May you be blessed with Family and Friends, who leave you many great memories.  Merry Christmas,

Roz E.

Happy Holidays

I am slowly getting it together but first I wish everyone who views this a Happy Thanksgiving and a happy CHRISTmas.  I. have finished all Christmas Cards and now getting them ready for the mail.  $$$$$ WOW

Every year I create a  mass of cards for the missionaries who visit the Simpson House in Philadelphia which is a retirement facility for all.  This year I created 150 - Every year this is my October - November project.  I am currently making envelopes for our personal  cards, and then I must focus on the Church cards.

Unfortunately I did not take any pictures of the 150 but will take a few tomorrow.  I am in bed already..today was sign up for Aquatics - the family feels that this will help me get some tone back.  Now I must say who needs it. ok I do....:( I turned 60 this year and in about 5 weeks will turn 61 - I wonder what it holds for me. Someone asked what my handicap was and I asked them which body part lol......If you see me on a good day I do not look it.  But I have had 14 back surgeries which left me with Arachnoiditis, Radiculoitis, Chronic Pain Syndrome, arthritis of the total vertebrae system.  DJD in hip. This year Heart disease and Vascular disease and COPD. There are times when I use a cane or walker or wheelchair or my rascal.  So that is the story of Roz

I hope you are being blessed this holiday..making people smile  with your beautiful crafts.

September here already???

It has been a very long summer, but all is good.  I have my flow back a little each day.  I will not be doing as many as I did before..Why you might ask lol.  Because I have turned into the sleep queen.  Up all night, then alsleep up till noon most days.  LOL.  I have fun learning new teck from You Tube - Reading the many blogs that are out there.  There is much to do..

I am still a non smoker and it is still hard but I still want to live lol. The many doctors appointments are continual and annoying and getting to be very expensive....I am still on my Healthy Heart Diet for the most part....I have a wonderful hubby who loves for me to eat sweets rofl.

Cards well I have made 180 so far for the Smith Nursing Home, next week I am making some for a hospital for children, that should be fun. Trying to use up my stash so I have a reason to continue to buy - do we really need a excuse - Think Not......

Will post some cards I have made. later!!!

The creative juices are finally flowing

I am soooo grateful after a few weeks of a form of vertigo....today was the first day of none of it...and I actually keep bending down just to make sure.....

From what I understand, the medications are keeping me alive...and they started taking away one at a time very slowly to make sure they are hitting the right one.

But let me tell the joy I had for the last 5 days, I created 15 cards - it took me a long time to get it going, Especially since I was still buying while I was not creating. So I had many packages to open and so many stamps to play with lol....

I hope those who are reading my blog understand that vascular/heart/lung disease is a silent killer......Had I not went to the doctor to find out what was wrong with my hip - I would be very dead...:( The importance of going to the doctor is vital especially as we age.  In my thirty's -40's I had 14 spinal operations..which left me with little faith in doctors. My cardiac doctor asked me What do you want Roz...I said to live to see my grands grow!!  His reply was you must do all I say...and I said...yes sir.....for me that was big. Most ask the insurance a problem...no...my hubby has #1 cover...I just did not like going.  I encourage YOU to care for yourself.....I like for you to keep reading the wonderful world of BLOGGING........

God Bless:)

It has been a month of recuperating and all is well.  Today Hubby and I move into our new apartment, back in New Jersey.  I am really excited about it as it is a place for me and hubby.  Not too much room just enough.  Of course this requires another decorating of a scrap room - I think in the last 5 years I have had to change my studio 4 times......this time it will be a little simplistic as I won't be doing classes and holding crops -I am in hopes that I can create a spot that will be peaceful and I can get these cards done every mnth as well as complete some scrapping Still have years to complete.

My health has improved, I am healing day by day...and learning eat correctly...The smoking is still no more, many say how did you do it....Believe me fear, and God will make you stop!!!  I want to live......having heart and lung disease is serious and I am treating it seriously.....

Three months with the grands - WOW it has been loads of fun, laughs, sometimes I just wanted to get away but I would not trade one second of it....They took such good card of me, and kept me laughing through it all.

Keep me in prayer and know that I am thinking of you...God Bless

A Big Thank You

It has been a month since I last posted and so much has happen.  To those who receive cards there will be another shipment in August hopefully.

Well, after six weeks of testing every organ in this body!!  Life changes have happen - but to the  Glory of our Savior who brought me through.

Had surgery last week to unclog Carotid Artery which was 98% blocked.  Very sore and weak as dishwater but I am moving forward.  I have been diagnosis ed with Heart and Lung Disease.  I am obviously very lucky as they believe I had had a heart attack or two and one of the TIA's probably were a full stroke as I lost a function that has not returned. During surgery they tell me they almost lost me a few times....and all were amazed in my recovery - that is because God was in control.  Life changes are hard  but very necessary if I want to continue to live:)  I was a smoker for the last 40+ years so you know that went out the window.  For years I have tried to stop - Facing Death was the trick for sure.....don't even miss them with my coffee lol...  Changing dietary - even though I really don't eat that much - I love the wrong things - like cheese - all kinds -  So that is over as well or at least limited.

Most know we left NJ to work in the church in the city.....I have passed the baton over to
someone else as I can no longer do steps- and take on the day to day responsibilities of the building and the groups .  The city was an experience I will treasure for many years....but I love our new and I mean brand new digs!!!!   I will be close to the grands again, and that always makes me smile...the only draw back is hubby travel time increases by one hour :(.

The family is packing up our place in Philly so when we move I am sure it will take me a few months to get things right...but it will all be worth it as hubby and I have been living in two different places for the pass 6 weeks, and I really miss my guy!!!

So as you can see I have been a little busy and unable to create any cards until soreness is gone and the ability to move my neck is back.....but God is a good God.....he has kept me safe in his arms and I am so thankful......

OK I am off to check out some blogs that I haven't been able to check out for a while....

Cards haven't been made - so many doctors visits and CT Scans this week and last and next week as well then a visit to the surgeon on Thursday...I have tried to create a few cards but the juices are just not flowing...too many things to think about. So far COPD, something going on in the heart, lung and kidney.......but the God that I serve - is able....he created this body, and he will fix all things if it is in his will...

Going to ask a friend to come over next week and create cards so I can get the juices flowing.......
Will update as progress is made......

Working on Cards today

Today it is raining in NJ but that is ok, the flowers need a good soak.  Another week of Doctors Appointments and testing.  This weekend brought my spirits up soooooo much - we had a awesome Service on Sunday, it was so spirit filled.....there was no way you walked out as you walked in.....

I am going to do some cards today and work on Fathers Day Cards...have been enjoying scrapping again the past two weeks, created my first paper bag album, and on my way to completing 4 other albums. it has been almost a year since I actually scrapped, my first love!!

Will post cards created today....Everyone go out today and make someone smile....God Bless

June update

well I am in NJ getting settled for a stay....Have some great ideas for summer cards, and will begin the process as soon as a few more crates are unpacked.......moving your stuff and then re setting it up is really why I stopped going to crops......the packing and unpacking - yipes!!!  i guess I need two studios lol....I can dream can't I.  Tomorrow is filled with doctors appointments so I will start on Wednesday. Missionaries they are coming - late but coming.....God Bless and everyone have a wonderful day..

A New journey begins

Well the doctors called with the results of the testing......I find the God that I serve to be so full of Mercy and Grace.   WOW is all I can say.  Went to the doctors for problems with my hip and a found lump in my breast, well they are both manageable - however they found a 70% blockage of the Carotid Arteries.....which has sent me for a loop but I know that this is just a test and new road to walk.....With God holding my hand and sometimes I am sure he will carry me, I will make it!!!

So life goes on I just need to slow down, so unfortunately the Card Process will slow down for a little while...To our missionaries I will forward cards as soon as life around here becomes stable....

Long Week

What a long week it has been, had loads of medical testing done, on Friday and Monday and the week has been sitting and waiting for the phone call the ring with the results.  I finally called the doctors office this morning as it has been long enough. Of course they will call me back.....

Had loads of time to reflect, pray, meditate...because when you are waiting on results there is little else you can do, I've tried to scrap or create a card all to no avail...just can't get the juices running....

Girlfriend has been over every day to keep me encouraged, love her....the phone has been ringing and I am at my daughters home this week - just to get some rest and peace from the city noise lol.

Tomorrow I am going to do a workshop with some great kids, I know they will lift my laughter..they get so excited learning the paper craft!! Then starts a busy week of church events and prep -

God is Good All the Time!!!

have a safe and blessed weekend.....

HAPPY Thursday...Life has been challenging for Cards by Rosalind lately.  I have been trying to get my mojo working but have had some disturbing medical issues the last two weeks.  My adult life has been filled with surgical, pain and learning to deal with these issues to make my life full.  Without God I know I would not have the mobility that I currently have.

Went to the doctors  last week for blood tests, x rays and ultrasounds of hip, carotid arteries and chest...sitting around this week waiting on results and we all know how that works - do they not recognize the stress that is created during that time.  Since my fathers death [5 yrs ago] I developed hypertension, have had a few TIA, so that big one is lurking around somewhere.  I know that God will never give me anything that I can't handle - I know for those who have limited faith, this is surreal, but for me I have lived my life depending on that faith....and he has never failed me.

So those who receive Cards - I am unable to focus so they will be delivered late.....:( Those who know the words of prayer, jump on my prayer wheel and keep it turning  God Bless......

So much has been going on....

Life here has been so very busy - so many good things...all to give praises to Our God for his many blessings!!

Daughter and Granddaughter and Hubby and grandson - baptismal was just awesome - it was a wonderful thing to see...

I have been blessed to set up a Monthly Workshop for children associated with three different churches.  We will meet once a month to create cards for those who are in Prisons and Nursing Homes.  I am so blessed to be able to offer this !!  I had been out of practice for over 4 years so it took a little for me to get organized....but it worked out well.

Lost a friend in the past month it was unexpected she was only 53 yo....Sad to see death among out friends, it is nature yes but a Sad thing.

Granddaughter tore her ACL and a few other ligaments in her knee [softball injury] so she had surgery last week and is progressing well, she is unable to attend the senior prom [she was asked] but she will be whole in at lest 6 months.  She is a trooper for sure....her faith carried her through the pain - She said I was her hero as I live in pain every day [arachnoitis] and she did not want to cry - I felt so good that she wanted to hold back but pain is pain.....

Cards are being made throughout all this as that is my comfort lol, I was with daughter for a week and packed half of the studio - glad I did got to make over 46 cards, and played with a girlfriend showing her new techniques.

This week hubby and I celebrate 44 years WOW!!! so we are going to do a tour of Old Philadelphia, and the Dead Sea Scrolls are in town.

Will upload some pictures when I get a chance.

For alll my blog friends, continue to pray for me that all I do Gives Him Glory!!!

Wokrshop was a blast!!

Yesterday a few ladies from the church came to create... they both are newbies and were so shocked that they made a card......One big Smile for me....we spent four hours together, and only accomplished three cards....it was a day filled with testimonies and praise, both of these ladies are new to Christ, and are so joyous to be on this path....

I was reminded when I first found the Lord, I was a teenager and it was almost expected because that is how I was raised.  When I became a woman I found him as a Personal Savior, big difference for sure....I was elated to see them so excited, and in love with Jesus!!!  It gives me big smiles....

yesterday it was 85 degrees here today it was about 50 what a change, so I spent most of the day using my new toys...Stampin Up Big Dies!!!!

have a blessed night.....

Sunday, April 15, 2012

It's been a long week but a Great One.

Haven't had a chance to blog in over a week, WOW time moves so fast..the grands were off for spring break and spent the week with me. and then,.We had a baptismal ceremony on Saturday and my daughter and grandchildren were baptized!!!!  It was a wonderful experience to see and be a part of.  Will scrapbook these pictures first chance I get.  It was a emotional week for me - a mothers dream!!

Working on Mother's day Cards all month long...loving creating embossed rose [Stamping Up] and using handmade paper that I had never used.  Have a workshop in two weeks - in hope that the mission is spread.  We have two new missionaries - who will deliver cards to the nursing homes.

I have met some really great people on this mission, I am so thankful for those who call or visit the blog just to encourage me.  I hope that you are blessed in many ways.

Everyone have a blessed day!!!

Encouragement from many miles away!

When doing service from the Lord, there are many times when discouragement sneaks in and makes you think that what you are doing isn't meeting the mark...Let me tell you how encouragement came through the mail for Cards by Rosalind. First let me apologize for being so late posting.  I receive a letter from Washington State...and I say to my husband do we know anyone in Washington State...he says no lol, but inside this envelope was an angels message.....just to encourage me and bless me with a gift from Heart & Soul Rubber Stamp Co......thank you Sue......May God Bless and Keep you for the work that you do for Our Lord and Savior.

So the lesson to be learned is continue everyone to do the work of the Lord, in what ever manner you do.....for it is a GOOD thing.

April a wonderful month.....,
It has been a few days since I have had a chance to update and tomorrow will be hectic for sure.  I am so thankful to God for his seen and unseen blessings in my life.  Grand- daughter is scheduled for surgery to repair knee, she has limited pain but much damage.....
Easter Cards were sent last week, and currently working on Birthday, Get well, and encouragement Cards for a Missionary Group who would like to purchase cards for the homes that they visit.
then there are the two mini albums I am trying to finish, one for a young man who lost his wife a few weeks ago, and one for a baby born in January.....I am a little late for sure.
Working on Mother's Day's Cards as well, grand niece spending a few days with me so I have her cutting out roses lol.....
Have someone doing the spring cleaning of the yard, and putting up the canopy, plans are to have a BBQ on Sunday if the weather holds up....KIS for sure...
Today was a day filled with prayer for others, so many have problems that can't been seen...I am thankful that I am a friend of God......

Everyone have a Blessed Resurrection Weekend!!!!!

March is almost gone

It has been a beautiful month here, the sun has shined and the air was warm.  A lot of people started their gardens preparing them for plantings.  I am old school I wait until Easter to clean the winter mess and them Mothers Day I plant....I think some habits are good.  the weather here is now true Spring low numbers at night.

Today going to studio to start creating May's Monthly Card......yes it will be a mothers Day theme for sure. I have collected some really cool Mother Stamps...so it should be a fun time.

I am reflecting on how blessed my family has been lately, my daughter who has been out of work for over a year, yesterday accepted a position....Granddaughter's got hurt on softball field last Friday, MRI results say torn ACL and fractured leg.....so surgery is in our horizon but she is a trooper...she is upset because chances are she will not be able to play this year at all.

Will post new designs soon....God Bless Everyone have a wonderful weekend...

Monday, March 26, 2012

Yesterday church was great....and very special.....it was our Founders Day Service where we remember the founders of the church who happen to have been my parents.  Kind words were said, and for the first time since his death [5 years] I was ok...I still miss him dearly - but I am ok because I understand his vision and his work for the Lord.  It took 5 years but I finally got it.  He never became discouraged when working for the Lord, which is amazing as in to days world when things don't go right - most give up....he always looked for the good.  Something I am working on daily - looking for the good. I am encouraged and miss him.

Today it suppose to be nice so I have to get outside and prepare the soil or at least clean up winters mess. So cards will have to wait until tomorrow when it is cold outside, The weather in PA. has been very strange, cherry blossoms bloomed, bulbs coming up.... hay fever will be a bad thing this season.

thanks for listening.....Have a blessed day...

the loss of Life

Tonight I received word that a former friend of mine passed away..she was only 50 years old.  It saddens me to think of the young dying.  The word is correct when it says no man knows the hour or time......and that is a good thing.  I pray for her daughter who is like my own, and her son who is expecting his second child,,  May she rest in Peace.

Cards for March in the Mail

Well, I did not think it could be done...in two weeks we moved the scrap studio to yet another room and still needs fine tuning but the necessary tools were put in place and I began.....non stop yesterday 47 cards in one day - only 5 designs so it made it go fast.

Life story: one of the children asked why do you have to make so many cards and what is your hurry it is only for sick people.  My reply was no son, they are not sick people they are seasoned people.  These are the people who came before us and made the way for where you are today - no matter what race, color or creed - we all owe honor to those who came before us.  We should honor them in anyway we can.....and the conversation went on about using manners - and respect in todays society.

This work has so many twists and turns in it - I am always surprised when doing the work of the Lord how one thing can lead to yet another.

To God get all the Glory!!!

Working on Easter Cards now....promise to post new studio pic and card soonest.......

Sunday, March 4, 2012

Almost there...

The new scrapbook room is almost done, or should I say the materials are in the room and now we need to organize...not to worried about wall decor yet because i don't have the time right now..I did however start making the cards for this month.....working in the mist of a mess, but getting it done - the thought that the elders are not getting cards on their visits by the missionaries is really hurting me.  My plan is to have them ready by this Friday - pray for me lol......

Studio temporarily closed

Unfortunately I lost power to my studio for the last two days.  We thought it was a simple solution - does not seem that way....This is a 100+ year old building and nothing ever is easy.  So rewiring will require Studio be moved.:( Now on the bright Side - I do have access to another apartment on this floor[we occupy two of the three] so, it might be time to move it there. But, it requires painting, and new flooring....what is a card maker to do.....so there will be a short delay in delivery of cards for March sorry Missionaries will get them to so as soon as I can.....

Really ok, just knowing I won something made my day!!!!

Happy Valentines Day

I wish to all a wonderful day filled with memories of those who show you love.  Mike and I have been together for 40+ Valentines Day...and he is so sweet because he told me when we were young, that he did not need one day to express his love to me.....  Well he was right, so we don't make a big deal except for the grandchildren, they get something every year.  It is a day of Love for sure.  I am blessed to have that love every day.

Feb.'s Cards are out

I completed 86 cards and mailed in time for Valentines Delivery.  It was so much fun creating cards especially since I found a perfect stamp that has a scripture [John 3:16] incorporated with the word Valentines.

I have had so much fun this past week creating, RRR monthly ribbon came so I am having fun with GREEN, which really isn't one of my colors.. I have been having loads of fun with all my new toys from Stampin Up.

Last month was my birthday so - now that all packages have arrived I have all my presents, including a new Cart. [destinations] the MS Scoring Board, My SU Start up kit which included stamps, pads, paper, adhesives, punches, and so much more. It was a good "60":)

Here are some pictures of my "Playing"

It is February!!

For such a short month there are so many things to do.  Valentine Day, Black History Month, Heart Month, mini vacation. I am on schedule this month and the February Cards will be mailed on Saturday. This month I need to put some focus in on Birthday Cards as well for inventory.

Great News ~ I have always wanted to be a SU Demonstrator [Stamping Up] because I really like their quality of paper and their stamps are so very beautiful.....well I did it!!!!  Waiting patiently on my start up box.  I am in hopes that some of the missionaries who deliver the cards will learn to create them.

The number one thing is that I will be back out in the public....going to crops etc, learning new tech. and meeting new friends.

Going to Orlando with my sister, just to great a break from the cold. lol, I am going to record our trip in my first smash journal..Will update as the process goes forward.

Everyone have a blessed February, Love Love and Love again.

JANUARY IS ALL MOST OVER

I can't believe that the month is all most over...It has been just beautiful here in Philadelphia, the weather has been odd, warm days lots of wind....but beautiful skies.

I recently went out to a SU Card Demo last week and I had not realized how much I missed joining in with other scrappers - hanging out and creating and just having fun with like-minded women.  I had a blast!!! and I finally did it.  I join in and became a Stamping Up Demonstrator.  Yes, after wanting this for the last 5 years, I finally did it.  I love their paper and their stamps are the greatest.  Should I tell you about thier new punches...which I just love.

As most know I am a tool junkie, and what ever I like I NEED to have every color. I am sure once I get my feet wet I will be telling you more....

Hard getting started

It was our first real snow of 2012 in Philadelphia and I was determine to get a lay out or two done as I am about 2 years behind lol. It took me a half a day to clean the room so that I could have a place to scrap,  I've been working on cards for the last two months so the desk is filled with Valentine Themes. but I did it!! I got two full pages done.....after so much time devoted to cards it took awhile for me to get back into the swing of things...

Will post pics after service this morning,

Have a blessed day.

Valentine Day Cards

Well, I have been busy the last few days making Valentines Cards for the Missionaries...I took a tutorial on a  blog, can't remember the name on a pocket card, it is such a easy way to create such a nice card, and the seniors will be able to pull a tag out.....Inside the card, the tag reads Love You

Here are a few examples:

Remembering those who walked the walk

As I started February card, I realized that Feb. is also Black History Month....so I decided to create some cards reflecting a honor for those in the Nursing Homes, for they are the ones who lived through the hard times in America during the Civil Rights Movement. ....will let you see what I come up with -  Think it will be some type of Historical Card with some facts on it.  Ok need to go to the studio and work on this.........

Thursday, January 12, 2012

Good Morning World! I am up very early- why - It's raining here and my body is feeling every drop, but that is ok  because I can feel the drops...lol. Our yahoo group had a winner last night on our Message number game....and I posted the number prior to the winner and wanted to see the person who would win...but sleep came first.  So this morning Miss Dawn posted ....

I like playing games in our group - I don't have much time, but during those nights when sleep does not visit me I spend hours on this machine.....if I had the patience to do the blog hops, maybe I would win something lol.

Today mission, is to clean the studio, after the mad rush for January's card is a lot of cleaning to be done. Then maybe I will take new pictures and post where the stuff gets done.

Everyone be safe today, and know that even though it is raining here there is sunshine behind those clouds:)

 One idea for February Card
One of the 70 January Cards that went out

I did it the cards will be in the mail tomorrow... Thanking everyone for their patience.  I also accomplished my challegne for the month for our scrapbooking group and I created a card for February which will be cost effective.  I have been a busy beaver for sure.  I also found a site that has hundreds of scriptures on clear stamps...my kind of thing.....so look for some new titles and inserts for the Nursing Homes.

Tuesday, January 10, 2012

OK last night I spent about 3 hours looking at craft rooms on a wide assortment of blogs.  So what did I do this morning of course re-arranged some stuff. Mainly because I had a another room housing some tools that I let the kids use.  After Christmas the room has now become a play area...so yes had to put the stuff back in my studio.  This weekend granddaughter Rel, is coming to take pictures etc.

Ok now I need to focus for the next day or two and get these cards in the mail,.,,,

It has been a wonderful day

Today I have been blessed to celebrate my 60th birthday!!  To most that might not mean much because 60 is very young these days.  Considering I never thought I would see 45, I am blessed and I can look back and see how God's hand has been in mine for many many years.

All the surgeries, fourteen in ten years, rehab, limited mobility and my friend Mr. Pain who has been my constant friend for many years now. There is a old gospel song that says I look back and wonder how I got over....my soul looks back and wonder how I got over....I would say I look back now and know that only God could have brought me this far.

Tonight the family gathered at a Restaunt and we ate, took goobs of pictures  and  just had a good time... I sat there and said a prayer of thanks because I am so lucky to have the husband that I do...and children and the grands - what can anybody say...No one is perfect, but they all serve God, Go to church, focus on their families.....the word says that your grandchildren are your glory and boy that is so true.....

Tomorrow will be another great day, because the weather is suppose to be awesome again, and it is Sunday so of course Church.....and then back to work Roz - got to get the cards in the mail by Monday for sure,  A week in Bed really tore my schedule up..

God Bless everyone,,,

It's my Birthday!!! WOW

I am excited to be turning 60 tomorrow- When I look back over my life so many miracles have been given to me in Grace and Mercy.  God's plan for me has been filled with many tests, but only to make me the woman that I am today. Hopefully with Grace and Mercy the next ten years will be filled with praises and service to my number one guy "Jesus".

Today is mail day but unfortunately,I have been delayed by my friend - hypertensiion- I guess the rush of the holidays and not really checking myself, I suffered a Transient Ischemic Attack on Monday night.  So I am back on meds and spending a few days in bed to get the blood flowing correctly. lol  Cards will be mailed on Monday. To all my volunteers I am so sorry for the delay.  Keep me in prayer, as I continue to get better

Happy New Year again

Happy New Year everyone, I wrote this long post on New Years Day but something went wrong with the wireless so here we go again, $50.00 later.  My grands tease us because our condo is high tech. lol....but there is a price when you are dependent on support systems to keep things running.

New Years for our family was spent in a wonderful Watch Night Service....it was beautiful to be in the House of the Lord as a New Year comes in.....then we had a light meal and off to sleep until the afternoon.  Made New Years dinner and we just hung around, yesterday of course was filled with football on 3 tv's - I am a Eagles Fan so when the door closed, I don't enjoy watching anymore. lol

Working on January's Card - which the theme is snowflakes.... I am running a design contest on our yahoo group for February's card, as there are so many great paper crafters out there and sometimes they can create a card that will do the trick for the month.

We are up to 75 cards a month now so you know I will be busy.  Michael is home today so getting cards done is not going to happen.  tomorrow assembly of the cards and then the next day the insides.

My wish for all my followers is that 2012 will bring you Mercy and Grace and many many memories that will last a lifetime.  God Bless.
